3D Lense Mutation

3D Lense Mutation Challenge
For this task I took to my surroundings for inspiration. Whilst decorating the christmas tree I looked at how fun baubles and tree decorations were. I was trying to get into the festive spirit so I decided this would perfect to use to create an illusion.
I then thought that because baubles were round it would be perfect for a head and then wanted to use perspective to make the bauble look the size of a head through the camera lense.
I drew a smiley face onto the bauble (I thought a simple common smiley face would look comical) and got my sister to hold the bauble from a string in front of the camera when she was taking the photos-more difficult than planned as the bauble kept spinning.
I chose to not just photograph the head but leave in parts of the body which were also communicating festivity (christmas elf jumper and tinsel)

I used my camera for a few of the photographs but it turned out that  it was trying to over complicate things and couldn't focus in on both the foreground and the background. Therefore the best results were just taken on my phone (however this means it is not as good quality an image as it could have been).
