I limited myself to one play of the song per piece, therefore I would have to spontaneously chose which elements/instruments I wanted to respond to.
I am frustrated by these.
I wanted to take the linear element out of them but they have ended up as blown up bigger versions of the first black and white visualisations.
I then tried to take the paint element out of them to try and focus on the tone of the piece and then there were too many lines. You cant differentiate what line is what instrument or section of the piece.
I think they are better big, more immersive (very honest) but they aren't right and even more intertwined.
Also the recordings are shocking. I create my artwork from my bedroom, in my atmopsheric and inspiring creative space. I was hoping to capture myself engulfed in this place however, they do not capture the bubble I am in at all and are from a horrible angle.
